I’m so sorry for the sudden silence and lack of updates! Things got more then alittle chaotic, which is a given when raising a toddler lol
However because I was getting swamped between getting things ready for Megacon Manchester at the end of July and also still trying to produce and maintain content with youtube, along side completing orders. It ended up alot, especially with a 2 year old running around and growing into a smiley, very active young man. It has ultimately lead to the decision to no longer keep myself constricted to a routine of a new video every other month. I will keep creating and filming and I will upload, just not as frequently, as it was leading to very severe burnout and I was beginning to lose the love I once had for it as it became more of a chore. This way I can keep making things to show and share with you all while also enjoying it at my own pace!
What this also means is not only will I have more time for my rambunctious Squish, it will mean I will have more time to create and bring you all new things! Which I’m super excited about!!
The store has now gone into Holiday mode as I take this month to make sure I have everything ready for you all at Megacon Manchester! I’m so excited to debue the Cosy Critters as well as having a limited number of the Heavy Critters for you all to see too. But don’t worry if you miss out! There shall also be preorder slots available too! So you can still easily snag one of your very own ^^ All preorder slots will be priority over orders which follow once the store is reopened on the 6th of August.
I’m so excited for the convention (and stressed XD) Sunshine Bamboo will be my table neighbour, we will be in artist alley/creators corner at AE1 and AE2 under gurder 13, how do I know about the gurder? It’s the exact same spot I was at last year!! I can’t wait to bring my moth companion Lumie on the Saturday for my moth witch and Caitlyn’s rifle on the Sunday as I cosplay her enforcer uniform from Arcane season 2. Sunshine Bamboo will also be doing Viktor on the Sunday along side my Caitlyn and I had a ton of fun making the crutch for them too. As I said I’ve been VERY busy lol
As you can tell, I’m very excited! I can’t wait. Though I shall be getting all of your input via a poll at the beginning of July on instagram for your input as to whether you would like to see a new minky colour option or a new critter! These will lead to two options, if new colour is chosen, you will all be able to cast your votes on the options I have at the convention. If a new critter is chosen, you will be able to give your suggestion at Megacon and once the convention is over, there will be a series of polls which will allow you all to vote for your favourite until we have only 1 option left, think of it like elimination rounds. So make sure to keep your eyes peeled to be able to cast your vote on what you would like to see next!
After Megacon, not only will the Cosy Critters be added to the store but I shall be starting to add some 3D printed items too, which I’m looking forward to sharing with you all. Some will be available at the convention, where others I have yet to test printing but am excited to make them!
It’s going to be so much fun! I know I’ll stress over every detail until the day of setup arrives but I can also feel the growing, building excitement for it all too. So if you want to see me there, make sure to grab your tickets while you still can and I will see you there!
