Honestly, I don’t think words are enough to express how thankful I am for all of you who came by my table at Megacon Manchester this past weekend. I’m overwhelmed by all the love and support you all showed me and my creations. The debut of the new weighted critter, the Rays, was huge, but you all really outdid yourselves with the bats, as I was sold out of all 30 before lunch on the first day!
It was also so wonderful to hear from you all about how much your new critter friends were already helping you all, and I can’t explain how happy I am to hear that they are helping you all!
I’m also going to be working on the feedback you all gave me at the weekend. I took my extra heavy ray prototype with me and since some many of you love him so much, the extra weight for the rays will be available once the store goes back up on the 5th.
Originally, I was going to work on a new critter ready for next year, however, so many of you requested a warming alternative, a critter which can be popped into the microwave to help aches and pains, such as for muscles or period pain. So that is what I shall work on testing next, instead of a new weighted critter, I’m hoping to work on bringing you all cosy critters instead!
So there is soon to be much to work on. I’m hoping to get a table again next year so I’ll be starting working on stock again straight away once I come back from my little recovery period on the 5th.
There is also a new doll repaint video in the works! She’s a little later than originally planned but I was determined to have her complete and ready for the convention. So those of you who attended have already had a final sneak peek at how she has turned out.
On a little side note, thanks to all of your support, I’ve been able to purchase a 3d printer! This means I will be able to use it for things like stands and accessories for my repaints but I’m also hoping to be able to bring fidget critters for you all too. Alongside that I’m working on some mobility and disability aids for the crochet girls, to bring more inclusivity to them, so there is something for everyone.
So as you can see there is much going on and yet to come. So make sure to watch this space as this is where you will get a sneak peek of how things are going, what is coming your way and how they are progressing!
I shall see you all in the next update!!
