It’s hard to believe we are already at the end of April! Time really has flown by and yet it feels like I’ve gotten nothing done lol
Squish has finally settled with bedtime again so I’ve been able to cram crochet work in. I’ve completed four dolls so far, all of which you can see over on my instagram page. I’m now onto making extra sets of the outfits, the plan is to have atleast two extra of each outfit but in different colour options to the fully assembled dolls have on. Once I’ve made all those, I’ll be working on six nude bodies (three with a pale skin tone and three with a darker skin tone) but it feels like I’m running out of time before DokiDoki in September, only four months left to go!! (It’s at the beginning of September)
On other news, I’ve made a few more weighted bats since my prototype. They were so much more popular then I expected! I had to close my commission slots just so I have enough time to make some up for Doki. Though I did mess up when ordering the fabric for them so if I have time, I’ll be making up a different weighted plushie too! You’ll have to wait and see until I make them to find out what they are ^^
A few weeks ago April’s video went up onto youtube, so if you want to see the creation of little Pashmina the Pack Mouse, make sure you head on over and watch it! She will be available for sale at Doki and if after the event she hasn’t found a home, she will be available right here and also on my etsy, so make sure to watch out for her listing, just in case!
With the chaos of everything else going on as well as dealing general life and health things along prepping to attend an event (as a consumer, not a trader) at the end of July, I’ve not managed to find any time to work more on the pin design so we shall see if we will manage to get it sorted in time for Doki, if not it will be a nice thing to look forward to afterwards!!
I think thats everything covered for now (I thought it was only going to be a mini update and then I started typing XD)
